What features of the app do you like?

I have two flocks in the trial; my home flock and the flock at my workplace, I don’t use very much technology on my home farm, but I am using the FarmWizard app for management.

I like that the app is available on an android phone as this is a phone that I am familiar with and the app has a good layout which is visually appealing; the menu tabs mean that you don’t have to scroll much on any page.

I also like the Bluetooth capability of the app, meaning you can use a handheld EID reader or electronic scales.

How has the app aided lameness management on your farm?

The app has good functionality and allows you to input lameness and production information. The ability to put the field in on the lameness input screens makes you think about where your lameness is coming from and helps you to see patterns. The lameness dashboard is good as it gives and overall representation of lameness in the flock and all the information is there on one screen.
